Product Owner
About the Role
ARKLOGIC is a software company building LINCGEO, an operational platform for land surveying firms. Originally developed as an internal tool, LINCGEO is evolving into a scalable, customer-facing product that supports complex, field-driven workflows using geospatial data and emerging AI capabilities.

We’re looking for a Product Owner based in our Warren, NJ or New York, NY office to drive LINCGEO’s continued development. This role is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering well-scoped product work grounded in real operational needs, ensuring the backlog is clear, actionable, and ready for execution.

The Product Owner works closely with Product Design, Product Management, Engineering, and stakeholders to align priorities and drive consistent delivery. This is an execution-focused role centered on backlog ownership, sprint readiness, and delivery outcomes, providing the structure and direction that guide delivery teams beyond day-to-day project coordination.
What You’ll Do
Own the Backlog
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on business and operational impact
  • Translate realworld needs into welldefined user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure work is clearly defined, scoped, and ready for development
  • Collaborate with leadership, Product Design, and Product Management to clarify requirements, business rules, and priorities

Lead Sprint Execution
  • Support sprint planning, sequencing, and prioritization
  • Focus teams on finishing highimpact work over increasing work in progress
  • Help maintain delivery momentum

Drive Delivery & Outcomes
  • Break features into clear, actionable pieces ready for estimation
  • Lead estimation sessions with engineering, push for realism over optimism
  • Maintain alignment on scope, timelines, and delivery expectations as priorities evolve

Ensure Quality
  • Define acceptance criteria and validate completed work
  • Partner with QA and Engineering to ensure features meet requirements
  • Balance speed with reliability in a growing product environment
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Teams work from a clear, trusted, prioritized backlog
  • Sprints feel focused and predictable
  • Features ship with fewer surprises and less rework
  • Core workflows become easier, faster, and more reliable
  • The product feels more cohesive, scalable, and intentional
Requirements
  • 4+ years in Product Owner or similar role
  • Experience working in environments with evolving processes, with the ability to bring structure and clarity
  • Experience working within a product management function or product-led environment
  • Experience with SaaS or operational/workflow-based systems
  • Strong backlog management and user story writing skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with scheduling, project management, or field service tools
  • Experience with internal tools transitioning to external products
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
  • Understanding of system integrations and data workflows
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones (e.g., US and India teams)
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunity to shape ARKLOGIC’s advanced technology and AI vision.
  • Support for ongoing learning, certifications, and professional development.
  • A collaborative, flexible, and innovative-driven work environment.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
